Meet our Trainer Taylor!

taylor & penny

Taylor has been immersed in the pet care industry since 2017, gaining valuable experience working in doggie daycares, veterinary clinics, doing pet boarding, dog walking, and training.

Committed to continual growth and learning, Taylor seeks opportunities to attend seminars, courses, getting hands-on experiences along side other professionals in the field. With expertise in animal behaviour,

Taylor not only excels in handling behaviourally challenged dogs, such as those with reactivity, aggression, and fear, but this is what she is most passionate about.

Why choose us?

Penny’s Pals was started after we struggled to find a nurturing and experienced caregiver for our trio of fur babies -especially with Penny, being our sweet girl who has her reservations around other dogs and strangers, making finding the right fit a bit of a challenge.

We understand that your dogs are an important part of the family, so we promise to treat them like our own.

We prioritize each pet’s unique individual needs, so you can trust that your furry family member is in loving capable hands while they are with us.

Taylor and Kyle

After working with a dog named Striker, Taylor was dropping him back off when she met Kyle, and the rest is history!

Kyle is Penny’s Pals biggest supporter and genuinely cares about all the dogs we bring into our home. He is a team player who takes the time to learn how to properly handle each of the dogs and always helps to ensure they receive the absolute best care and attention during their stays with us.

A home away from home for your dog

Meet Mady

Our newest addition to the team, our apprentice trainer.

“Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up always having family dogs around and when I moved out I got a job in a grooming salon as a dog bather so I could still get my dog “fix”, until I adopted my own pup Ronnie! Ronnie challenged everything I thought I knew about owning a dog. He was a perfect angel in the house but his reactivity made taking him anywhere a huge challenge. After meeting Taylor at a community pack walk, I signed Ronnie up for a 3 week board and train that completely changed our lives and made me want to learn everything I possibly could about dog training! From there I signed Ronnie and I up for every class I possibly could, from basic obedience to dog sports and I changed my career from hotel management to working full time with dogs as a pack hike leader. Last summer my partner and I adopted Honey into our family. She is the polar opposite of Ronnie and has already taught me so much about sensitive dogs. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone’s pups, continuing to learn from Taylor and help other dogs and owners on their training journey!
